Ellipcycle is the big sister to the Ellipse litter bin and for a high capacity (230 Litre) bin it looks really attractive and fairly unobtrusive. The elliptical shape is ideal where there is heavy pedestrian flow or narrow footways.
Ellipcyle is extremely well made from thick gauge stainless steel and it comes with two durable heavy duty polyethylene liners as standard. Optional aluminium liners are less durable but are fire resistant. Access for emptying is via a lockable hinged front door and cam locks are in stainless steel. Inner plastic bag liners (not supplied) used in combination with the rigid liner is common practice. Price tag is £1850.
The beauty of Ellipcyle lies in that it has lots of customisable options (both aesthetic and practical) to really make the bin your own and to ensure it fits with your particular situation or circumstance. It is a 2-way recycling bin and you can specify what you want each compartment to recycle. Often it is general litter on the right hand side with plastic or cans on the other. It is possible to have round bezels on both sides if you wish.

And to help any reduce corrosion for particularly aggressive environments the bin can be supplied in 316 stainless steel and with an electropolished finish for a belt and braces approach.
A note on colour - Although the standard all stainless steel bin can be supplied with a RAL powder coated finish throughout (not usually the lid) we can not make them with just powder coated legs or with just a powder coated body. So instead we offer colour in high quality vinyl (similar to vehicle graphics). We recognise it doesn’t sound that appealing - that is until you see one for real as it looks a very smart and professional finish. There are other advantages as well such as much cheaper refurbishment costs down the line when powder coating may chip or look a bit tired where you can replace the vinyl on site (without uprooting the bin) and even in a different colour or with advertising!
Bolt through surface mounted only on a suitable surface with below ground concrete foundation. Bear in mind that you’re surface does need to be reasonably level so the bin doesn’t appear to tilt.

These are sponsored graphics in high quality vinyl that have been applied over the legs of Ellipcycle. They can be removed or replaced once the contract period is over.
A comparison of size between Ellipcycle and Ellipse
This Ellipcycle has an optional CNC machined cigarette stubber/disposal facility in its leg. There is a 2 Litre aluminumreceptacle for butts concealed under the disposal hole that is accessed for emptying when the door is opened.
Graphics in high quality vinyl are expertly applied to your own design and can look quite good to complement the bin. They have a low 'tack' so can be removed or replaced every year or so.
Round bezels are laser cut out of polished stainless steel - wording tailored to suit your own recycling regime. It is also possible to have a second bezel to the right hand aperture instead of general litter.
This is the optional Cigarette disposer that is integrated into the right hand leg of the bin. The stubbing plate and hole are cut by CNC water jet to obtain a really crisp finish. There is a 2 litre aluminium receptacle underneath within the leg that can only be emptied when the main bin door is open and liner removed.
